Very good Tutorials
Many of your tutorial tips do not work to keep the “natural” feel of the picture. Your “Enhance portrait photo with natural look”, “Adjusting skin tones in Photoshop” and “Photo Treatment: A Delicious Hamburger” doesn’t work. The woman look weird with eyes and lips that are clearly unnatural (come on, who has clear blue eyes like that… only in your dreams….). The retouched baby look either like he has the jaunisse or death. Clearly not a success. And the retouched Hamburger kills my appetite (tomato lost it’s juiciness/looks fake, the patty look greenish).
Retouching a picture is an art that little people can capture. It’s about fixing details so they look NATURAL and make them fake. It’s like makeup; if you are going to wear some, put the accent on your beauty but it should show that you are wearing any (makes you appear beautiful, not like a clown).
Oh and you should NEVER EVER remove freckles; that’s just not understanding the beauty of nature. Plus you got to be VERY talented to take of the freckles without ruining the face of the subject. You have to kept face expression (smile, eyes…).
Anyways, that’s my two cents. Seems like more people like fake and unnatural effects… too many women over makeup… mostly when it’s not necessary.
I just shared this article with my photographer friend Njambi and she loved it very much.
Cool, I know they are photoshop made, but looks very real!
