Gary Locke is a master of caricature drawings and has had his work featured in publications from Sports Illustrated to Time Magazine. Despite the fact that Gary is an avid listener of Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity (still waiting on the water boarding Sean) we can set politics aside and focus on the drawings and Gary’s awesome natural abilities.

Traditional Expression Painting by Ruben Belloso Adorna – I.D. 13

We love all forms of art here at SloDive and we just had to do a post featuring some of the paintings of Ruben Belloso Adorna. These are hand painted and really inspire me put down the pen/tablet or mouse and work in a more traditional form. I am not very good but it’s nice to take a break from the uniformity and precision tools and do some free form work. Ruben’s ability to convey emotion through expression is why he is our pick for inspiration today.

Awesome Conceptual Art by Daniel Dociu – I.D. 12

Daniel Dociu was raised in Cluj, the capital of Transylvania in Romania and his dark, industrious designs seem to fit right in with how I imagine Transylvania to be. He moved to Seattle in 91 which is not as cool sounding but still kinda dark & dreary with all the rain, right? Anyway, he’s worked with Squaresoft, Electronic Arts and currently resides at ArenaNet. We love his paintings and we think you will too.

Apple Tablet Mock-Up Done Last Year For School Project Slay Them All!

These Apple Tablet mock-ups were created by designer Patrycjusz Brzezinski who resides in Poland. He named it the MacView and it appears it was created for a school project sometime last year. I’ve seen a lot of mock-ups over the past few weeks but none have caught my attention like these. They are breathtaking to look at and they really get the gears turning in my head. Only a few more days and we will know how the actual Apple Tablet looks and functions but one can only hope it’s as cool as the concept below.
