    Your pic of “Bold Prisoner” is, actually Travis Barker. He was the drummer for the band Blink 182, not a Russian prisoner.

The guy with the cigarette is a rock star aka drummer Travis from Blink 182 … Why would you post something you have not researched that’s not cool and misleading!

    Sorry, but some of this information is wrong. That would be alright, but there’s so much information available on this subject, it’s no excuse to get it wrong. Images of Russian leaders on prisoners’ bodies DO NOT stand for a love of their leaders!!!! They were placed on the chest and over the heart because the Vor (I think there’s huge ‘fuck you authority’ humour in this) thought the guards would not shoot at an image of their leader. Do you understand now? I’m guessing the image of Lenin above is a variation on that. The image was on the back because the guards would shoot prisoners in the back or in the head from behind.
