Take Me As I Am
More Information on Take Me As I Am

I don’t like the dragonfly at all, but thanks to these images for I feel a sense of like for them.
the take me as i am one looks like it says “take me as jam”
I have ten dragonfly tattoos. three that are repeats, and four singles. they represent family members, present and departed, and one for myself. all the symbolism boils down to this, my family enjoyed fishing, I preferred watching the dragonflies hovering over the water. the tattoos are my way of keeping my family with me.
In 2001 my oldest brother pasted suddenly. We didn’t have much in common but the one thing we both loved was the river. The weekend after Norman’s passing I and my husband went to the river. A I sat and watched the water move by a large dragonfly came and landed on my knee. It kinda freaked me out because it was larger than usual and even when I tried to shoo it away it would not leave. So I finally relaxed and sat and just looked at it and it at me. So time later I was telling a lady how odd it was thar the bug joust would not be shooed away. She asked if I had had a loss of a loved one recently and I told her. She told me that some believe when a dragon visits you persistently as that on had me, it’s the passed loved one telling you that they are ok. I’ve collected dragonflies since.
Now I would like a tattoo just looking for the right one.
Thanks for letting me share. Sorry I went on so.
