Carlos Villa is an artist, teacher, Community Resource and Producer. For nearly fifty years Carlos has explored the meaning of cultural diversity in his art. In an attempt to know his own heritage became over time an exercise in creating his own visual anthropology to represent his personal background. His vast knowledge and experience can be very well evaluated from his work. Enjoy the creativity of this well-versed artist.
Carlos has studied Filipino and Filipino American Art History. His works has been installed at Triton Museum of Arts. He currently teaches art at the San Francisco Art Institute and at the University of San Francisco. He is one of the rare artists who have dived into every detail of their subject/interests.

What an exceptionally gifted and diverse Artiste ! I was visually captivated by the vast array of Carlos’ stunning works ! Each of his works conveys a story which one can become lost or even a character in .
Very few artists manage to evoke a certain emotion within or through their work – however , Carlos manages to do this within each of his works . My personal favorite would be : Inspirational Work # 15 , this piece speaks to me :)

From what you wrote above I have learned that Carlos Villa is not only an artist but also a teacher and from seeing the arts the only thing I can think of is having this guy as my teacher. He has a very commendable job.
