There are three types of sleeve tattoos-quarter, half and full. The full sleeve tattoo is the most dramatic of the lot. These tattoos are guaranteed to, because of their length, attract attention. They, like the name suggests, run the length of the full sleeves of a shirt from the shoulder to the wrist.
They usually contain a myriad of ideas and expressions in them. Such tattoos are also created by linking up the tattoos already existing on the arm. This technique could be your last resort if you already have a permanent tattoo that you have become bored or unsatisfied with. As there is so much space to ink, people generally also tend to use themes. Celtic design, tribal, floral, Japanese, Flame and Koi Fish tattoos are some of the most famous designs of this department. Even then, they have their own shortcomings as they can never be erased or even modified. They are also more painful and require more than one or two sessions to be completed. As such, it is imperative to choose full sleeves only if you are extremely confident about the design and the artist. But at the end of it all, if done tastefully, they can be a point of great personal pride.
