Regarding playing videos on an Android OS phone. I recently purchased the HTC Sensation. Very nice. But could not figure out how to play videos without using Android’s version of iTunes, Watch. I was going to purchase a media player like Mobo or VPlayer. But then I sumbled upon this: After loading videos and animations onto 8GB SD micro USB storage media, and placing media in slot inside phone, next to SIM bay), I opened camera. In the lower left hand corner is an icon for files (looks like a stack of lines). Click the icon and the next screen shows two a box icons, one labelled ‘Movies’ and the other ‘Videos’, both have the same files. Click on either and icons for movies and animations appear. Double click whichever and videos play, beautifully to my eyes. No need for additional player. Is this a real find, or am I inexperienced? What I was puzzled by was this, I have an Archos 5 Internet Tablet, very nice, with latest version of Android updated. It has a video player resident. I thought the Andrord phone should also. I think Google wants users to go through its ‘Watch’ application for obvious reasons?
Agreed George. The internal camera for viewing all sorts of media including mobile films on the HTC phone is usually great.
